AE1-23-800 Williams Pinball Coil. Common replacement coil and solenoid for Williams and many other manufacturers pinball machines. Substitutes for AE-23-800 coils by removing the diode.
Be sure to replace the wires in the same position as the original coil. Also check to be sure the silver band on the coil diode is facing the same position as your old one. Remove and replace one wire at a time; or better yet, take a picture before beginning so there will be no confusion later.
